Job Title: Part-Time Residential House Cleaner – Join Our Growing Local Team! (Des Moines Area)

Job Summary: We’re a small, family-owned residential cleaning company based in Urbandale, proudly serving happy clients throughout the Des Moines area. We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented person to join us for hands-on home cleaning jobs. You’ll start by working alongside the owner with full paid training, in a supportive and low-pressure environment. As we grow, there’s strong potential for more hours, independent cleans, and opportunities to help onboard future team members. Key Responsibilities:

• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and other spaces
• Follow our simple, proven checklists to ensure consistent high-quality results
• Team clean with the owner at first (2-person jobs)
• Provide friendly, respectful service while protecting clients’ homes and privacy
• Occasionally assist with light home organization projects (e.g., tidying closets, organizing cabinets/drawers, or helping clients create more efficient spaces as part of our services)
• Keep cleaning supplies organized and report any needs promptly

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (to get to client homes)
• Physically capable of light-medium lifting and active cleaning/organizing tasks
• Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and dependable work ethic
• Good organizational skills (helpful for both cleaning efficiency and occasional organization projects)
• Clean background check (required for client trust—we’ll handle it)
• No experience necessary—we provide complete training and shadowing!
• Punctual, good communicator, and respectful

Schedule & Compensation:

• Part-time to start: 15–25 hours per week (flexible, mostly weekdays and daytime based on client needs)
• $17–$22 per hour (depending on experience; raises possible after probation)
• W-2 employee position with direct deposit
